"View of Port Patrick in Wigton Shire"- a print of around 1813 by the by the engraver William Daniell. This particular engraving was used as an illustration at the foot of an antique map of "The South Part of Scotland". There is another closely similar engraving - with different foreground detail and ships in view - that is better known. We understand that he used "templates" to enable such variations on a theme.
